Center for Gender & Refugee Studies, Hastings School of Law

This university-based legal advocacy organization was undergoing rapid growth and demands on the leadership team were becoming more complex. I served as an Executive Coach to the Center’s Deputy Director as she faced new and ongoing challenges, including managing the fundraising efforts of the growing organization with the assistance of a new Development Director.

An experienced human rights litigator, CGRS Deputy Director Moira Duvernay said of the coaching, “The coaching sessions with Eleanor were invaluable to me and helped me manage both up and down. I benefited from the regular attention of a smart person to serve as a sounding board for what I was thinking about. And I appreciated the regularity of our calls for accountability.”
